Sidi Kaouki has long been known as a watersports paradise with surfing dominating the winter months and kitesurfing and windsurfing in the windier summer months although all 3 sports can be practised all year round.
You can bring your own equipment or rent from the surf club or one of the cafes in the square. Kitesurfing lessons can be arranged in the village or on the beach outside Essaouira. As you can see from the photos, conditions vary from “millpond” to “experts only” so usually everyone is happy
For the surfing there is good body boarding all along the beach and a couple of quality reef breaks within walking distance of Rebali. Then there is the famous Cap Sim point break 10 minutes away by 4×4 – this is one of Morocco’s best waves and you can see the waves peeling down the point from the roof terrace of Rebali.
Rebali must be one of the few hotels in the world to offer a door to door camel service and what a great way to explore the beach.

Where the road stops and the dunes start, quad bikes become the way to explore and in particular to get out to the lighthouse and the amazing dune-scape around Cape Sim.

Rebali is located in the village of Sidi Kaouki 10 miles south of Essaouira and 100 miles west of Marrakech and 70 miles north of Agadir. The easiest way to get there is to fly direct to Essaouira and then you are just 15 minutes from paradise! There are direct flights from London Stansted, Paris and Casablanca. You can also fly to Marrakech and we will arrange a driver to pick you up - it is around 2.5 - 3 hours. Agadir is the same distance but a longer journey. You can also come by bus to Essaouira and then a 25 minute taxi journey (£7).
